2 Kiss 100 FM Presenters Announce Exit
One key similarity in their statements is that they will crown their last day in radio overall!

Celebrated radio presenter Sheila Kwamboka, aka Kwambox, and media personality Kerry Martin have announced that they will leave Kiss 100 FM.
In their own Instagram posts on Tuesday, April 29, the duo, who have been hosting Kiss FM's 'The Morning Kiss' breakfast show, revealed that they will host their last show on Wednesday, April 30.
One key similarity in their statements is that they will crown their last day in radio overall! Kwambox has been on the radio waves for 13 years, while Martin has spent 11 years on the radio.

"Stepping into the new you requires letting go of the old you! Tomorrow is the end of a very significant chapter in my life!" Kwambox announced.
"For 13 years, radio has been my identity! It’s time for change! Tomorrow, I will host my last show at Kiss 100."
Martin, on the other hand, reminisced about starting out at Homeboyz Radio more than 10 years ago...to the heydays before the radio station was acquired by Radio Africa Group (RAG).
In this space, per his words, he built lasting connections in terms of friends turned to family, and listeners who played a key part in shaping his storyline on the radio.
"As I hang up the mic tomorrow, I do it with a full heart. Grateful. Humbled. Ready. It’s been 11 years on the radio. From my first show on Homeboyz Radio in 2014 to wrapping up Kenya’s biggest breakfast show on Kiss 100, this journey has been nothing short of a blessing," he wrote.
"I’ve had the honour of doing what I love, with people I love — friends who became family, and listeners who became part of my story. Every laugh, every debate, every early morning — I gave it everything. And you gave me more in return."
For Martin, he remarked that "Because this isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of something even bigger. Let’s go", hinting at all new adventures in his life after saying goodbye to the radio station.
In May 2024, the two teamed up for the breakfast show running from 6 am to 10 am every weekday. Notably, this was their reunion, given that four years beforehand, they hosted a show together on Homeboyz Radio.
Their departures come four days after Radio Africa announced a strategic workforce reduction, a move that saw 27 employees lose their jobs at the media company.
In an internal memo dated Friday, April 25, Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Martin Khafafa revealed that the decision was one of the most difficult in its history, and it came in response to rising operational costs and ongoing economic challenges.
Some of the employees affected by the latest redundancy exercise had worked at the Lions Place-based media house, famous for huge radio brands such as Kiss 100 FM, Radio Jambo, Smooth 105.5 and Classic 105 among others, for more than two decades.
"Yesterday, we made the incredibly difficult decision to let go of 27 of our colleagues. This was one of the most challenging moments in our journey. These individuals have been part of our team for many years, some for over 20 years," the memo read in part.
"Please know that this decision was not taken lightly; it was necessary to ensure the sustainability of our business while facing rising operational costs in a harsh economic climate."
