Former Nairobi Diaries actress Ali Iptisam Zeid, who was once famous all over the country for her ‘Sicho‘ remarks, has released her manifesto featuring the grand goals she would accomplish in the event residents elect her as the Woman Representative in 2022.

Iptisam had declared her interest in the big shoes of politics and will attempt to take over from her predecessors Rachel Shebesh and current County MP Esther Passaris.

Dividing her plans into four sectors, the former actress turned socialite in a series of Instagram stories prioritised a healthy business environment in the city for Kenyans as well as social protection and a population that is healthy and sustainable.

“A business environment that is conducive for a common Kenyan (mimi na ma hustler wenzangu) 2: Effective social protection. 3: A healthy and stable population. 4: Security and safety, we all need security in 1 way or the other. And the list goes on…,” she listed.

When questioned regarding what kind of skills she would bring to the high table, Iptisam noted that the position of a Woman Representative does not require any special skills, adding that she had no fear in representing whichever government.

“I don’t think I need any special skills to be a representative for any government. I am a Kenyan, this is my country, I have the guts and will to take on any challenge in this life, and in this country,” she wrote in response.

“At my young age, I’m not scared or shaken to announce that am ready to represent my fellow Hustlers, wasee tu hustle tusichoke. HUSTLE TUSICHOKE (Let’s hustle and not get tired),” she wrote in response.

Iptisam boasted about being different from the predecessors before her, noting that she would “strive as much as possible to make my visions come true.”

When asked about her choice for the presidency, Iptisam played cagey with her response but remained committed to uniting the country.

“Well for now am keeping my options open. They both have very good visions. Politics is not an easy game. They both have what it takes. The goal is to unite the country as one,” she added.

She is expected to fight it out against Sylvia Mulama, Milicent Omanga, and the current Nairobi Women’s representative Esther Passaris in the race to secure the seat in the August 9, 2022 elections.

Despite drawing the attention of thirsty men all over the country while being featured on the show that aired on K24, her mispronunciation of the word ‘psycho’ as ‘sicho,’ on top of boasting of being a classy woman, turned her into a national fodder for memes.
