Frida, Paula Kajala Arrested in Tanzania

Tanzanian movie actress Frida Kajala and her daughter Paula Kajala were allegedly arrested on Monday night, April 19, hours after they landed in Tanzania from Dubai.

According to reports, the two were apprehended over allegations of leaking singer Harmonize’s nudes and private chats to the public and they will be questioned by authorities over the same.

The two were being interrogated at Central Police Station in Dar es Salaam.

The arrest of Kajala and her daughter come days after Harmonize's bitter rival Rayvanny and Wasafi FM Presenter cum singer Baba Levo were also taken in for questioning by detectives over leaking Harmonize’s private affairs.

The government of Tanzania was forced to respond after the online battle between artists Rayvanny and Harmonize took a brand new twist.

Through regulatory body Baraza la Sanaa la Taifa (BASATA), the government ordered the two to refrain from using abusive words on each other and instead focus on making good music or risk facing the full force of the law.

Harmonize on Wednesday, April 14 threatened to sue Rayvanny alongside others over what he termed as spreading false information about him on social media to damage his brand.

Konde Boy stated that his lawyer, Jerome Msemwa would prepare a cyber-crime case against individuals accused of sharing his alleged nude video and photos online.

At the same time, he denied allegations that he was featured in the video that went viral on social media, where he was featured talking to ex-lover Frida Kajala's daughter Paula Kajala while naked.

"Various social media accounts have been distributing messages, images, and voices involving an artist known as Harmonize, Elephant, Army, etc. aimed at discrediting, defaming, humiliating, destroying his business and degrading his personality," read a statement from Msemwa.
