Lulu Hassan Interrupts Dance Between Rashid Abdalla, Jovial (VIDEO)

Spread the love

Citizen TV news anchor Lulu Hassan appeared to have shown a ruthless defensive display when she stepped in to dance with her husband, Rashid Abdalla just as singer Jovial was beginning to serenade him.

A video that has since gone viral on social media saw the singer, real name Juliet Ayub, swooning Abdalla with a magical performance during his birthday party on Sunday night, May 9, at an unspecified location in the coastal city of Mombasa.

Abdalla, dressed in a white Kanzu, was getting into the groove generated by Jovial, who was hired to perform for him on his special day.

Watch the video:

She sang Mi Amor, a single that features Tanzanian fast-rising Bongo Fleva recording artist, singer, and songwriter, Marioo.

Just before Abdalla could go further into the melodious trance by Jovial, Lulu popped out of nowhere into the view of the camera lens and briefly…and passionately, danced with her man before walking back to a cheerful crowd.

The two continued to dance to the tune, though Jovial kept a slight distance to avoid a repeat of what she witnessed earlier.

Pia Mimi I can do this (I can also do this) no one is dancing with my man,” shared Beth Kasinga on Twitter.

Another clip however showed a more passionate dance session where Jovial boldly pulled him close to serenade him.

That was not the only fun Abdalla had. According to videos from close friends who attended the party, he could be seen kneeling on the floor surrounded by a bevvy of beauties who threw the currency notes at him.

Musician Zuchu was the other guest performer at the party which was attended by Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.

Other guests who graced the event included Citizen TV journalists Faizah Wanjiru, Monica Kiragu, Emmanuel Igunza, Wangechi Muriuki and Hassan Mugambi.

Former Maria actress Wanjiku Stephens and renowned chef, Ali Mandhry were also the invited guests.

It was the second surprise after the news anchor’s children visited him at Citizen TV studios on April 16 and interrupted his Swahili bulletin to wish him a Happy Birthday as Mugambi brought in the cake for the man of the hour.
