Comedian David Oyando, alias Mulamwah has for the first time broken his silence about being dumped by his baby mama Carol Muthoni, alias Carrol Sonie.

He took to Instagram on Tuesday, December 7 to share a photo of him with her seated facing each other, with Sonie just on top of him on a quad bike.

In his carefully-worded statement, he affirmed that it was only them who knew what happened that led to the termination of the relationship.

He added that they had separated a long time ago but had to put their house in order before Sonie announced to the public on Monday, December 6 of the development.

“This is my favourite picture of us in my gallery, only you and I know what memories it evokes and what prevailed after. It has been the best experience with you by my side. Sad, but Carrol & I decided to call it quits.

“We both decided to separate a very long time ago but we so it fit to also put everything straight that we are no longer together as partners. Of course, our beautiful daughter’s priorities come first, and she will never lack anything within my reach,” part of Mulamwah’s post read.

He added that he held great respect for Sonie and wished her all the best going forward.

“For Carrol, thanks for everything I still have the utmost respect for you, and all the best ahead,” he noted.

Mulamwah then sent a message to his followers not to judge them for their choices and subsequent actions, promising that the full story behind the end of their union would be revealed.

“Don’t be too quick to judge either me, Carrol or Ruth for our actions and choices maybe one day it will all unfold and you’ll get a clear picture of what really transpired. It’s not easy to just step out without solid reasons, we could no longer sacrifice our peace and live in pretence for your happiness,” he advised.

Mulamwah turned his attention to the rest of the Kenyan couples, advising them not to turn to violence when things do not work out for them.

“And to other couples out there, when things don’t work out don’t resolve to violence, sit down and straighten things out peacefully, there’s always still life after everything,” he went on.

He then affirmed that he was not clout-chasing, even after he had unveiled Sonie’s replacement in form of an unidentified lady on his page. A photo showed him wrapping his new bae around her shoulder as she leaned suggestively towards him.

“Instead of mockery laughter and trolls, pray for us, this is quite a lot for us to go through now, you never know who could be next. We don’t clout – (as you call it)- on such sensitive matters involving lives. All the best, baraka,” he concluded.

Their split caused ripples across the country and earlier on Tuesday, singer Dennis Manja, also known popularly as B Classic declared his love for Sonie, a day after she announced that Mulamwah and her had called it quits.

B Classic in an Instagram post on Monday, December 6, revealed that he was saddened by the events that followed the announcement. Not hesitating to shoot his shot, B Classic declared that he will take in Sonie and her daughter Keilah Oyando, whom she sired with the comedian.

“Carrol Sonie from this point forward, the love you feel won’t be determined by your circumstances. It has hurt me how Mulamwah handled all this.

“I assure you that I’m willing to take you in, love and treasure you with all my heart together with your daughter. I’ll love you with all my heart,” he declared.
