Gachagua left in a smaller version of the presidential aircraft managed by the Kenya Air Force, which Ruto used in a series of trips during his time as the Deputy President.

Its larger version, a Fokker ER 7, is estimated to be worth over Ksh2 billion and was acquired in 1995 to boost VVIP transport.

The DP is expected to be amongst the speakers during the Youth Connekt Africa summit in Kigali which serves to realise the potential of Africa’s youthful population. It is expected to attract over 9,000 youth from different countries.

Key issues set to be addressed during the summit include youth's contribution towards climate action, sustainable peace, sports, economy and cultural creativity.

The summit is geared towards empowering young people through enhancing their knowledge and skills while investing in their ideas, innovations and initiatives.

"The summit has brought together about 9,000 youth delegates from all across Africa and beyond. They are all eager to harness continental opportunities and actively contribute to Africa’s socio-economic transformation," read a statement from the Youth Connekt.

The summit will be the climax of a series of boot camps that commenced on Monday, October 10 in Kigali.

Charlene Flies To Ghana

As for Charlene, she left on a private trip accompanied by young politicians, among them Njoki Wa Mathira, and Mike Sagana, who shared photos posing with the first daughter alongside other people. The delegation flew business class and shared photos on their respective social handles.

Charlene, who is the manager of Weston Hotel which is owned by her father, was seen wearing a brown and black striped dress and black shoes.

"With a delegation from Kenya, paid a courtesy call to Ghana Infrastructure Investments Fund and discussed how Ghana and Kenya can learn from each other in strengthening investments," Njoki captioned.

The first daughter is more social than her siblings who prefer to keep a low profile. Her sense of fashion has been known to leave men gushing on social media.
