Interior Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Millicent Omanga resurfaced on Saturday, April 22 with a fresh warning after steamy videos and photos purporting to be of her were leaked on social media.

In a couple of posts, the former Nominated Senator advised those using lies to destroy other people's reputations, particularly those in political as well as entertainment circles, that the same might be done to them in counter-circumstances.

"Karma says, when you destroy someone's life with a lie, take it as a loan. It will come back to you with interest," she stated using a picture quote shared on her official social media accounts.

Omanga went on to use a Gospel song to indirectly communicate her message, appreciating God for being with her despite the trials and tribulations that came her way.

On her TikTok account, she posted a video of himself dancing to Yona Chilolo's song 'I'm Counting on You Baba', whose lyrics go like this:

"They are lined up in every corner, they want to harm me, They wish that when we see each other, I will lack freedom. If I do something good, I have no one to thank me, They would own my peace, I would pay taxes for it.

"Thank you God you loved me and gave me freedom, My happiness I love is not threatened by pain I owe you to God, you are free, If you want to bless, no one stops you".

This comes amidst threats by Suba North Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo to lead efforts in amending the Computer Misuse and Cybercrime Act of 2018 by introducing life imprisonment to persons responsible for leaking private photos and videos on the internet.

Speaking during a parliamentary debate on sexual harassment, Odhiambo on Thursday, April 20 expressed her wish for the House to come up with tougher laws aiming to punish perpetrators of such acts, especially those targeting national leaders as was the case with Omanga.

A tough-talking Odhiambo made reference to Omanga's situation which occurred on Monday, April 17 when a raunchy video of her, which was later determined to be downloaded from a pornography website and doctored to make it look like it was her, was leaked all over social media platforms and turning Omanga into a trend lasting almost three days.

"What I want to say is that in this country, this must stop. This nonsense must stop. The DCI must follow those guys, every time there are so many women who have been followed and every time we were told to just keep quiet, otherwise, we will not get a blanket.

"You are not going to harass women, I don't care whether you are in UDA or ODM, when it is an issue of women, my party becomes a woman because what is done to a woman will be done to me," she fired.

Odhiambo further expressed her wish at supporting the death penalty as an alternative form of punishment for the culprits but affirmed that she was not a believer in the punishment only reserved for heinous crimes such as treason, murder, or robbery with violence.

However, she threatened to lead the charge in convincing her fellow MPs to enhance the penalties in the Computer Misuse Act to act also as a deterrence to future perpetrators.

"What somebody has done in her privacy, why are you bringing it for us here in public? Honestly, I was so offended I could not even stay in this House yesterday. What nonsense is this? We are going to amend our laws and make stricter penalties.

"I don't support the death penalty, but if I did, I would support the death penalty for such people, but since I don't support the death penalty, I think we need to enhance the sentencing to life imprisonment for people like that," she added.
