According to Super Metro, applicants must have at least a Form Four certificate. Although experience in public transport or road operations is a plus, the company stressed the importance of integrity, accountability, solid communication, and sharp observation skills.
Applicants should also be able to work independently and must be open to either day or night assignments as required.
How To Submit Applications
Super Metro urged interested candidates to submit their applications by Friday, December 5, 2025. Physical applications are to be dropped off at the Super Metro office on the seventh floor of Njengi House along Tom Mboya Street in Nairobi.
The company added that only those who make the shortlist will be contacted once the selection process kicks off.
This comes as Super Metro announced plans to launch a taxi service as it seeks to capture a slice of the growing cab-hailing market, and expand its core business operations.
In a notice posted on its social media pages on Monday, October 13, the Sacco announced that the new service, dubbed SuperGo Taxis, will be launched soon.
The Sacco, which operates more than 500 buses and ferries about 170,000 passengers daily in and out of Nairobi, is banking on its strong customer base to make the new venture a success. With its deep market reach, Super Metro becomes the first matatu Sacco in Kenya to transition into the digital taxi space.
Beyond its matatu business, which operates from 18 stages across Nairobi, including the Central Business District (CBD), Thika, Juja, Roysambu, Westlands, Kikuyu, Kitengela, Ngong, and Kahawa West.
Further, the company has also diversified into parcel delivery, courier services, charter transport, and insurance.
Super Metro also runs a long-distance line, the Super Metro Executive Coach, which operates on the Nairobi–Kampala route.
