Controversial social media influencer and media personality Andrew Kibe lifted the lid on the series of events that forced him to tender his resignation at Radio Africa Group's Kiss FM in 2020.

In a video he shared on his Instagram account on Tuesday, January 31, Kibe revealed that while co-hosting The Morning Kiss show with Kamene Goro, he felt that the radio job was draining his masculinity.

The US-based blogger added that his working relationship with Kamene would often see him hang out with women until he began showing similar behaviours to them.

"When I was in radio, bro I used to feel my masculinity being drained away from me. I used to feel like I am losing my manhood.

"Bro when you hang out with women you start becoming like them. Women don't change but you start behaving like them and you start flowing with their plans," he revealed.

Kibe lamented that he was constantly in women's circles until he felt that this was affecting his masculinity, leading to his self-introspection.

"You start doing things women normally do. I used to feel my masculinity. Bro because I was hanging out with women all the time.

"Until I looked at myself and wonder what is happening. What kind of energy have I allowed?" Kibe lamented.

He then realised that being in the radio space was taking away his true personality and decided to make the ultimate decision to resign.

After he left Kiss FM, he decided to take some time off to think about himself having come out of a messy situation.

"So I realized that I am dying when I was in radio. I am like am dying, I am losing myself. One day I just woke up and said no this is too much for me.

"There is too much noise. Why am I having too much noise in my life? I sent a letter of resignation because I had had enough. So when I left that's when I started now to have time to think for myself. Because I was so clogged up bro, I was in a mess," he added.

Kibe joined Kiss FM alongside Kamene after they both became famous during their stints at NRG Radio. The two were paired to host the morning drive when the station went on air for the first time on March 1, 2018.

Kamene and Kibe were supposed to officially begin working at Kiss FM on July 1, 2019, but NRG Radio had filed a court case preventing them from taking up the job before the lapse of the non-compete period in the contract they had signed.

Kibe resigned on June 30, 2020, amidst a fallout between him and Kamene, which has stood to date. He started his own internet radio station before relocating to the United States (US).

As for Kamene, she officially left the station on Friday, January 27.
