"Over the years, I have collaborated with different agencies, individuals and organizations to conceptualize and launch numerous distinguished brand campaigns in the Kenyan Market. As Fulgo Mobile Country Manager, I will be responsible for managing the staff, all programs, and partnerships in Kenya and, by extension, the East African Region," the statement read in part.

Muthoni is also expected to be the key representative and liaison with the local authorities, media, and other stakeholders, and she will be tasked to ensure that Fulgo's vision, mission, and values are aligned with the local context and needs.

Her Reaction

Speaking to Viral Tea, Muthoni reacted to her latest appointment, saying this will continue her passion for matters of technology. However, she underlined that the position will not be easy.

"I would like my legacy to be an acceleration of growth and empowerment to those around me and Fulgo at large," she remarked.

Muthoni further expressed her anticipation of working with members of the Fourth Estate, whose support will ensure that Fulgo as a brand achieves its purpose.

She formerly served as the Corporate Communications Manager for Del Monte in Europe and Africa. Prior to that, she held the position of Head of Corporate Communications and Projects Manager at OPPO East Africa. Most notably, she was the brains behind the SSS3 campaign (Super Senator Sakaja) that saw Johnson Sakaja (Governor) get into Parliament as the current Nairobi County Senator.
