The Second Edition of the TUKO.co.ke Entertainment Awards finally concluded, and Kenyans chose their favourite stars to shine the brightest. 

This award celebrated the incredible talent and creativity that Kenya has to offer, with TUKO.co.ke hailing the exciting journey, from shortlisting nominees to tallying the votes of its readers.

To make sure TUKO.co.ke captured the full diversity of Kenya’s vibrant entertainment scene, the digital media house increased the number of categories and nominees, ensuring everyone had a chance to be recognized. 

An independent jury composed of entertainment industry leaders carefully selected the nominees, but Kenyans decided by voting for their favourite finalists in each category.

Here are the winners from the ten categories: 

Female Artiste of the Year: Nikita Kering 

This award recognizes female musical geniuses whose songs, performances, and charisma command recognition. 

Influencer of the Year: MC Gogo 

This award celebrates individuals who have used their influence to positively change their fields, motivating others to follow their lead. 

Male Artiste of the Year: Lil Mania 

This category acknowledges the most impactful male musician whose unique sound and performance style are unmatched, reflecting their music and entire persona.

Podcast of the Year: The Messy Inbetween 

This new category honours outstanding podcasters whose shows have captivated listeners with compelling storytelling, insightful interviews, and thought-provoking discussions. 

Rising Star of the Year: Dem Wa Facebook 

This new category celebrates budding creatives who have made impactful strides in growing their audiences and influence over the past year. 

Song of the Year: Kudade - Fathermoh, Ndovuu Kuu, and Harry Craze 

This new accolade is for the track that has dominated the charts, inspired listeners, and showcased musical excellence by blending powerful lyrics, melodies, and exceptional production. 

Best Actor of the Year: Bryan Kabugi 

This category celebrates male performers whose exceptional acting has deeply moved fans and left a lasting mark on the industry. 

Best Actress of the Year: Jacky Vike 

This award honours remarkable talents whose performances in film or television have enthralled audiences and raised the bar for acting in Kenya. 

Most Fashionable Celebrity: Claudia Naisabwa 

This award is for the fashion icon whose flawless style has left a lasting impression and set new trends in fashion. 

YouTuber of the Year: Crazy Kennar 

This new category celebrates content creators who have entertained and informed audiences through engaging videos and built a loyal community.
