President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady, Margaret Kenyatta, were taken through the process of playing the popular game of golf on Friday, September 9.
The duo had graced a farewell ceremony held in the outgoing Head of State's honour by the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) at Ulinzi Sports Complex in Lang'ata Barracks, Nairobi.
Uhuru was led to the pitch where he was handed a golf club by one of the KDF soldiers and taken through how to hit the ball.
Just before he could have his turn, a golf pro in the defence forces showed him how it's done.

He then stepped forward for his moment to be famous, hitting a rather tame shot across the field but was allowed to have another go, which turned out successful.
Uhuru was then led to a mock putting green used for knocking the ball into the hole during the last strokes played on a golf hole before handing the club to Margaret who had a go before the two walked back to the seats for a photo session with the soldiers.
Uhuru loves Golf and was, from time to time, seen teeing off alongside Margaret and is expected to continue with his passion during his retirement. The President followed in the footsteps of his predecessor, Mwai Kibaki, who was an ardent golf player.
During the parade, the outgoing Head of State was presented with portraits of a Friesian cow, Ayrshire cow, Sahiwal cows, Boer goats and Dorper sheep. He was also gifted a lion sculpture and golf clubs by the military.
The gifts were presented to the retiring Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces by retired military generals, the Kenya Navy, Kenya Airforce and the Kenya Army.
“I appreciate the support and participation that KDF has rendered not just in the security sector but also in our national development,” President Kenyatta spoke during the event.
He thanked the KDF for serving the country selflessly and asked them to maintain the same spirit as well as support the incoming administration.
“I salute each and every one of you for your selfless service to our country and I ask that you remain steadfast and support the incoming administration just as you supported my administration and that of my predecessors,” he added.
After the event, all eyes will be on the swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday, September 13 where Uhuru had already stated that he will hand over power to his outgoing junior, president-elect William Ruto but maintained that he was not supporting him but rather Azimio la Umoja leader, Raila Odinga.
