President William Ruto's daughter, Charlene Ruto has launched an inquiry for the young people of Kenya after she turned 30 years old on January 11, 2023.

A week after she celebrated her new milestone with close friends and family, Charlene on Wednesday, January 18 announced that she wants to extend the birthday celebrations to the youth, specifically.

According to a post on her Twitter account, she is seeking 30 ideas from them on how they can collaborate to improve the standards of the country.

She added that she would pick the best 30 and share them the following week.

"Last Wednesday, I finally joined the infamous 3rd floor and turned a year older. For my 30th, I'd wish to get insight from the Kenyan Youth.

"Kindly comment or DM the 30 things we can work together on this year to add value to our country. We will share the top 30 next week," she wrote.

On her special day, she was forced to confirm that she finally reached the famous '3rd floor' of life after Kenyans were curious to know how old she really was.

"Nimeambiwa niconfirm...so wacha niconfirm (I was told to confirm so yes let me confirm), Yes it is my birthday today turning 30. Thanking God for the gift of life,” she said.

The president's daughter has been actively engaging the youth in various reach-out forums and initiatives.

She has also used a variety of situations to increase her presence online as well as her profile as the First Daughter. She has been engaged in high-profile public events despite her father not appointing her to a government role.

The public relations officer and branding officer at Weston Hotel, Nairobi, which is owned by her father, has been instrumental in ensuring that the Head of State's legacy is secured even after he leaves office at the end of his tenure.

Her local and international expeditions have been on an upward trend, with Charlene meeting governors and county officials, as well as visiting learning institutions, among others, that have seen Kenyans, largely question the role of the first daughter since children of all Kenya's four presidents barely operated in the public limelight.

Charlene has also made headlines in 2022 on social media alone and has been through it all; being branded "Quickmart Ivanka" by Kenyans On Twitter (KOT), going viral over her smokie kachumbari past business at Daystar University as well as her alleged creation of the Office of the First Daughter, which was questioned by even politicians.

During her private celebrations, the president’s daughter was showered with gifts including two cakes and bouquets of flowers.
