President William Ruto's daughter, Charlene Ruto, has been strengthening her profile with a series of high-level meetings with government officials and some outside the country.

The public relations officer and branding officer at Weston Hotel, Nairobi, which is owned by her father, has been instrumental in ensuring that the Head of State's legacy is secured even after he leaves office at the end of his tenure.

Prior to meeting government officials on home soil, Charlene flew off to Ghana on a private trip accompanied by young politicians, among them Njoki Wa Mathira, and Mike Sagana, who shared photos posing with the first daughter alongside other people.

The delegation flew business class and shared photos on their respective social handles.

"With a delegation from Kenya, paid a courtesy call to Ghana Infrastructure Investments Fund and discussed how Ghana and Kenya can learn from each other in strengthening investments," Njoki captioned.

Upon her return to the country, Charlene interacted with top government officials ranging from governors, deputy governors and other executives, all within a short period.

On Friday, October 28, she met Kirinyaga's deputy governor, David Githanda, and praised the county boss, Anne Waiguru, who is also the Council of Governors (CoG) chairperson, for championing devolution in her capacity.

"Kirinyaga County is ripe for investment in hospitality areas and value addition of crops such as tomatoes. It was a pleasure sitting and sharing these matters with the deputy governor, David Githanda. The progression of our counties is the progression of our country," Charlene's statement read.

Moreover, she has been highlighting some of the businesses owned by Kenyans living in the county.

Two days prior, on Wednesday, October 26, she met Embu governor Cecily Mbarire as well as other women leaders in the region where she praised them for putting in serious measures with regard to niche tourism in the county.

"Embu County has great potential in Agritourism and Sports tourism. Now, this is effective leadership!" she exclaimed.

Ruto's daughter met Isiolo County deputy governor, James Lowasa on Tuesday, October 25 in key discussions on climate change and its impact on environmental progression.

As a way of protecting the country against the effects of the ravaging drought in the country, Charlene announced a tree-planting exercise in December.
