RMS had given her a chance as a novice to anchor the news and she rose to be one of the top journalists for almost a decade.

"It's my last Bulletin and my last day of service at Royal media services (Inooro TV) What a beautiful journey!  Seven (7) years and looks like yesterday.

"It has been such an exciting experience but now I have to say goodbye to my colleagues and our Amazing audience," she wrote.

While disclosing that she was eyeing other interests, she was grateful to God for walking with her throughout the media journey as well as the RMS fellow journalists, the audience that watched her at home and her family and friends who supported her.

"As I leave RMS, Inooro TV specifically to pursue other interests, allow me to first thank The Almighty God for walking with me this far. Thanks to the RMS fraternity for offering me this opportunity and you the people that formed our daily audience.

"To my Family, All my supporters and friends it has been such an honour, May the Almighty God bless you now and forever. No words can fully cover my gratitude but accept this from the deepest part of my heart," she added.

She turned to her bosses, including the RMS chairman, S.K. Macharia, for nurturing her talent during the period she was at the station.

"To the chairman, S.K Macharia, vice-chair, Gathoni Macharia, M.D Wachira Waruru, Linus Kaikai and the whole RMS family. I began the journey as a young and novice person and I leave with lots of experience," she stated.

She added that her followers could keep reaching out to her on her social media handles.

Wangui did not reveal her next move to the public, instead captioning "Change is Inevitable…" to keep her fans guessing where she would head to next.
