Live On Air: Watch Prezzo Propose To Radio Presenter On Valentines [VIDEO]

Valentines' Day celebrated on February 14 every year, is the one day in the entire calendar when couples go above and beyond to impress each other, making it the perfect day for proposals to fly left, right and centre.

You don't have to propose to someone to be engaged to them ahead of marriage. At times, you propose to them to be your girlfriend...or boyfriend, for women who like taking the lead.

Take for instance on Tuesday, February 14 when Jackson Ngechu or popularly known as CMB Prezzo, electrified the mood at NRG Radio studios in Nairobi when he proposed to radio presenter Azeezah Hashim.

In a video seen by Viral Tea, Prezzo was seen interrupting Azeezah who was on her duty to present her with a bouquet of flowers, much to her delight.

She was however not prepared for what was to follow. Prezzo revealed a box containing what appeared to be an engagement ring before going down on one knee and popping the big question.

Azeezah then reached out to Prezzo to give him a big hug as her colleagues who were watching and filming the proceedings clapped and cheered on.

In the age whereby celebrities have been accused of interpreting real-life events as staged, Viral Tea could not independently ascertain whether or not the stunt was real.

Dubbed, The Media Messiah, Azeezah is a young, fast-rising Media personality who hosts one of the biggest and freshest morning breakfast shows on radio, the NRG Breakfast Club, every Monday to Friday.

Furthermore, she is a TV presenter on NTV's Teen Republik and on the side, she is a corporate and events MCEE. Owing to her deep and captivating voice, Azeezah is also a voice-over artist.

Prezzo was born in Nairobi in the 80s and grew up in the streets of Eastleigh. He started his music dream way back but only blew up in the early years of the 21st century. 

He is well known for his debut album Naleta Action which was released in 2004 and included hits like Naleta Action, Let's Get Down, Mahangaiko, Leo ni Leo, Mimi na Wewe, Mafans among others. 

Prezzo was widely accepted in East Africa and his popularity heightened by his flossing antics. He is well known for his flashy lifestyle consisting of expensive jewellery, lavish clothing and flashy cars among an array of other fine things.

His love life was said to have been at an all-time high when he went out with the beautiful Sheila Mwanyigha also known as "Nikki" according to one of his fans. This is one subject that he likes to keep under wraps.

In similar reports, comedian Eric Omondi on the same day proposed to his long-time girlfriend Lynne Njehia, who showcased a ring on her finger he gave her.
