Vera Sidika Announces Birth Of Second Child, Two Months Later [VIDEO]

Kenyan socialite, Vera Sidika on Tuesday, May 30 took to her social media to announce the arrival of her second child with her husband Brown Mauzo, two months after birth.

The couple as anticipated, welcomed a baby boy on March 3, 2023, whom they named Ice Brown to complement his younger sister, Asia Brown, who was welcomed by the couple two years ago.

Sidika and Mauzo first revealed the gender of Ice through an Instagram post and an episode of The Real Housewives of Nairobi (RHON) in which she stars and was the main plotline of one episode.

A trailer to the RHON episode split into two parts, had showcased Sidika's stunning post-baby body in the midst of escalating drama between the housewives. 

Sidika took her fans through the incredible journey of her delivery with her fans through a near-nine-minute video shared on her YouTube channel, showcasing intimate moments from the delivery room in the company of her loving husband, Mauzo, her brother Josh, and her doting parents.

The footage provided a glimpse into her birthing experience, capturing the excitement and emotions as she welcomed her bundle of joy, maintaining her glamorous appearance throughout, donning full makeup during the delivery.

The delivery took place at Nairobi Hospital where she stayed in the presidential suite, the same place she was in during her delivery of Asia Brown.

“I had to have my baby in a presidential suite like the queen that I am,” she stated.

Similar to her first child, Asia Brown, Vera opted for a Caesarean section for the birth of Ice Brown. The decision was a personal one for her, as she had in the past said she wanted a painless delivery.

On December 19, 2022, Vera announced that she was pregnant with her second child, revealing that she found out that she was pregnant for the second time as she was about to undergo a breast surgery procedure.

"Sweethearts, Asia’s sibling is on the way!!! God had plans for our little family to grow bigger. Imagine we Discovered at four and a half months just when I was about to go for my breast enlargement surgery.

"I had to cancel my trip and embrace our little miracle. I’ve learnt that being pregnant means every day is another day closer to meeting the other love of our life," she wrote.

On Thursday, March 9, she held an exclusive gender-reveal party at Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club in Nairobi which made entertainment headlines following a helicopter fly-by which jettisoned blue smoke/powder, signalling that the celebrity couple was expecting a boy.
