Award-winning veteran investigative journalist John Allan Namu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Africa Uncensored, has partnered with the Standard Media Group (SMG) for a four-part series to be aired on KTN News.
Namu announced on social media on Wednesday, January 25 that the series will be titled Ghetto Gava and will expose the inner workings of electricity and water cartels in Kenya's informal settlements.
The show was produced by Sam Munia and Joy Kirigia who also work at Africa Uncensored. It will air at 8.30 pm from Thursday, January 26 to Sunday, January 29.

The series will see Namu take a deep look into the complex circumstances that have allowed Kenya's cartels to run rampant within some of Kenya's largest informal settlements, unchecked.

Munia is one of Africa Uncensored's producers and an award-winning journalist with over 15 years of experience in journalism and filmmaking in Africa and across the world.
He previously worked at KTN in TV and video production and holds a degree in Science in Communication, Media, and Journalism from Moi University.
Kirigia on the other hand is a senior reporter at Africa Uncensored where she has been since 2016.
"Here is something to look forward to this coming Thursday 26 at 8.30 pm on Africa Uncensored and KTN News," she announced.
This isn't the first time Allan-Namu is delving into controversial issues in Kenya.
He has become known for his daring exposes and in-depth and thought-provoking reporting on a wide range of issues which have caused verbal tremors across the country.
Namu has won numerous awards for his work, including the CNN African Journalist of the Year award.
Recently, he launched a local true-crime documentary titled Last Door that aired on Maisha Magic Plus. This unearthed the hidden truths regarding some of the most reported crime cases in the country.
