ChatSpot, an entertainment show which used to air on Switch TV, is back, but this time under the Switch Media outfit.
The show is making its comeback seven months after the Red Cross-owned station went off air, consequently rendering many of its employees jobless.
The digital media house announced on Wednesday, July 6 the show's return through a trailer, adding that it would be aired on YouTube every Thursday at 10:00 am.

It will feature actress turned media personality Joyce Maina, Nana Owiti and journalist Mary Mwikali who have been hosting the show even before the station went offline.
“Guys are you ready?? Drumroll please...the certified tea mistresses Nana Owiti, Joyce Maina and Mwikali Mary are back on your favourite show.
"Who did you miss? Let's meet this and every Thursday at 10:00 am for #Chatspot on Switch TV Ke YouTube. Don't miss!!,” the announcement said.
The ChatSpot crew shared emotional messages after the station shut down following an announcement by its management that it was taking a different direction, with December 31, 2021 being the last day it would be on air.
“As the producer, this is so hard for us but Switch TV has been a good journey ever since we started, we all started at different times and our journeys have been different but one common thing that has brought us together here is ChatSpot. And as the ChatSpot crew we had fun,” said the show's producer.
“Switch TV has definitely been a family to me because I walk in knowing that I’m gonna smile and it is a sort of balance to me. I came here very green and Switch TV took me in and taught me and even the people here are family, we live like a family and whenever anyone has a sort of event we flock there and support each other,” Owiti weighed in.
She added that through the show, she gained exposure to the point of being recognised everywhere she went, while thanking her fans for according her the unwavering support.
The station had announced that it would transition to a digital broadcast to meet the market demands.
"In character with our core philosophy of being responsive to the needs of the youth and with the ambition to become the go-to media platform for the emerging generation, Switch Media has made a conscious decision to build a new strategy around being digital-first," the station's group Chairman, Sahil Shah, stated.

"In view of this, Switch Media will be launching new and exciting services and products in this expanding digital space. We hope to grow this brand together with the technology that comes with it. We assure our stakeholders of our continued presence and support," he added.
The brand, now called Switch Production Studios, now boasts of an array of state-of-the-art equipment which is available to the public for studio production services.
