An unidentified officer from the General Service Unit (GSU) has reversed his initial accusations at YouTuber and influencer Eve Mungai of leaving him in despair after she responded to his claims.

Mungai refuted the officer's claims, describing him as a clout chaser while distancing herself from his sentiments. In addition, she revealed that she was in contact with her lawyers to resolve the matter.

She also alleged that he was not an actual officer but an individual pretending to be one.

"I was sent those videos yesterday...I don't know the guy, I've never seen him. Actually, when I started receiving the videos I was like I'm used to people using my name until my lawyer sent it to me and asked me if I'd watched them.

"You know so many times when you receive such videos online, sometimes you know not to watch them because you can't know what he is trying to say," she told K24 Digital.

The YouTuber added that her lawyer informed her that he was merely issuing false threats against her life and that he was in possession of an audio clip of the alleged officer apologising to her.

She added that she has not reached out to him as of yet, terming him a clout chaser before she discovered that he had changed the credentials of his profile and pulled down the viral video.

"I was even told he is even threatening to kill you, he was just issuing fake threats. My lawyer contacted him and said that he even has an audio saying that he is really sorry, he was just chasing clout...so he is the one who is handling it.

"I have not talked to him yet, my lawyer is handling the matter but he admitted that he was just chasing clout then after a while I realised he changed the profile, he even deleted the video, then today morning I was told he was live apologising, ahh!" she added.

The individual, on his part, acknowledged the virality of the video whereby he accused her of abandoning him after allegedly helping him out in the early stages of her content creation, to the point that his grandmother had even called him as a result.

He appealed to the content creator for forgiveness as well as the companies with business deals with her, as well as her boyfriend, Trevor.

"I went to the internet and found that I was clout chasing Mungai Eve, so I'm sure she will see this. I know she will understand, I'm just a content creator, and so are you, I did not do it with bad intentions but I came to realise later that I can spoil for you either in terms of family, or job.

"Mungai Eve, I'm begging you to forgive me, I'm also asking for forgiveness from the big companies you represent out there and I'm also asking for forgiveness from Trevor; don't beat me...I'm just a content creator like any other," he stated in a video seen by Viral Tea.

The cop further appealed to his fans not to take him seriously adding that he doesn't have bad blood with Mungai, nor has he even met her.

In the viral statement, he also demanded a tablet he claimed to have bought for her and also accused her of cheating on him with a certain man from Utawala, which was the genesis of their purported relationship troubles.

“Mungai Eve we know you. I know you so tell that guy you are with I want my properties and I am now pleading with you.

"And if you people think that I am lying everything is here, I have messages on this phone. The messages between myself and Mungai, how she insulted me," he said.
