An unidentified officer from the General Service Unit (GSU) has allegedly accused YouTuber and influencer Eve Mungai of leaving him in despair after becoming a success in her own capacity.

In a video seen by Viral Tea and going viral across social media platforms, the officer recounted how he struggled to help her record her first 30 videos, showing a phone worth Ksh10,000 he had used as its camera.

The officer added that he had even bought lunch for Mungai's interviewees from his own pocket as well as rent for a house she was staying in.

"Mungai Eve, before she became famous, you know how much I struggled to make sure she recorded her first 30 videos. If you are woman enough, come out and fight me back.

"I remember buying lunch for those guys she used to interview. Nowadays she's out there walking with her money, she's made it on social media and afterwards, she blocked me," he claimed.

The officer, while revisiting the time he was catering for her rent, added that he had evidence on the matter in form of contacts of the caretaker of the residence she was staying in and expressed that he would not hesitate to call him for confirmation as well as messages of the same.

"I paid for your house for five months before you became famous, Mungai Eve. Now that you are famous, I'm trying to call you, my calls are not going through because you blocked me, when are you planning to settle my debt?" he posed to Mungai.

The officer was seen to be living in a single room coupled with a bed as well as a stereo system and a television.

Mungai is yet to respond to the matter by the time of publication, which comes after she took her followers on a tour of her luxury apartment in Nairobi's Kileleshwa estate. From the video, she has already decorated the house with all manner of exquisite furniture from the sitting room all the way to the bedroom.

When one enters the premises, there is a mirror and shoe rack which according to Mungai, is tailored for taking good care of her guests' shoes. There's also the guest bathroom that is near the entrance ad exit, which has marbled walls.

"It's been a year since we came to this house, we came in October last year and furnishing a house is really not easy especially when you want things that last you longer and things that are a little bit classy," she explained.

She currently lives with her boyfriend in the two-bedroomed house. The 22-year-old previously disclosed that she earns on average Ksh1.5 million a month and Ksh700,000 on bad months on YouTube.
