Speaking to this journalist, Bids Safi Managing Director Lawrence Wainaina Gakungu noted that this is an opportunity for Kenyans to change their lives with only Ksh20 bob.

“One might have the desire to change their living room, buy a new TV or even a cow but they have low funds, this is your opportunity to bid with only Ksh20 and stand a chance to win,” Mr Wainaina said.

How do you buy or place bids?

Mpesa Bidding

  1. Go to the Mpesa menu
  2. Go to Lipa na Mpesa Go to Paybill
  3. Go to Business Number Enter 876060
  4. Under Account Number - Select the item you want to buy i.e YOUR PHONE NUMBER#PRODUCT
  5. CODE then bid amount eg 07123456789#TV56.
  6. Under amount, put Ksh20 only then send.

Desktop/phone

  1. Open www.bidssafi.co.ke
  2. Below is the product that you want to bid on;
  3. Enter your Phone Number
  4. Enter the Bid Amount
  5. Click Place Bid
  6. Check your Phone for notification

USSD

  1. Bidders can also place their bids via USSD by dialling *421*24#
  2. Dial *421*24#
  3. Choose a Product
  4. Enter your bid amount of choice
  5. Once you place your bid, you will be notified if the bid is unique or not and will have another chance to place another bid. You can also place as many bids as possible.
