UPDATE: Keroche Breweries heiress and the Chief Executive Officer of Nero Water Anerlisa Muigai broke her silence after Tanzanian singer Ben Pol denied that the divorce case amongst the couple was finalised.

“Good Morning. Today is going to be a very great day, God bless you...Take a moment just to honour the Lord this morning for who He is. Let’s be thankful for what we survived and what we escaped. God corrects us so that we can live our lives to our best and at our strongest. Our help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”

“As our days are so shall our strength in God be. May we never look down on anybody, for only the Almighty God sits that high. Hug harder, laugh louder, smile bigger and love longer. As we believe, we hope. Thank you, God, for everything. Amen, Amen, Amen,” Anerlisa's prayer stated as shared on her Insta stories on Tuesday, October 4.

Tanzanian singer Benard Michael Paul Mnyang'anga also known as Ben Pol has raised eyebrows by refuting claims that the divorce case between him and Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai has been concluded.

Muigai, who is the daughter of Nakuru Senator, Tabitha Karanja, had celebrated the official end of her marriage to the Moyo Mashine hitmaker, thanking her team of lawyers who ensured that the mitigation process went without hitches.

She announced that they had entered the final divorce decree recently, meaning she was a free woman- officially.

“Officially free. It would not be fair to not give a shout-out to these two advocates who worked tirelessly to make sure that the divorce was done quickly and not wait for years. Hamza Jahir and Hosea Chamba, thank you for your work and for doing everything as requested," she stated.

Muigai had received a notification from her lawyers that the divorce was granted on Saturday, October 1 at 9 pm, but the date remained unclear.

However, Ben Pol on Monday, October 3 denied her own sentiments, noting that he was not informed in any manner and that he had no idea where she got the notification as the court he had filed the divorce case in wasn't alerted.

He nonetheless expressed confidence in the court which is yet to deliver the official verdict.

"I am also seeing these reports online. I haven’t been informed officially or unofficially. I don’t know where she got that communication from because even the court where I filed for the divorce isn’t aware of the reports.

"In that regard, I will leave the matter to the court and wait for the official outcome,” he revealed to the Nation.

The singer filed for divorce in April 2021 at the Dar es Salaam court without explaining why he was doing so, 11 months after the couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony. They had dated for three years prior to the ceremony in May 2020.

Ben Pol had expressed to the Nation that it was difficult to explain why the marriage crumbled and that his own instincts had detected issues affecting it.

"There were so many red flags that initially I had ignored and issues kept piling up until I couldn’t take it anymore and decided to file for divorce,” he stated in July 2022.

He added that he knew he wanted to settle down with the entrepreneur, who is the founder and owner of Nero Water Company. A friendship started in 2018 before it blossomed in April 2019 when the two were on vacation in Mombasa.
