The Kenyan media fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the death of K24 political Affairs producer Jeff Dennis Khaemba.

Khaemba's demise was confirmed by his colleagues who revealed that the scribe was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) on Tuesday morning, October 24.

The journalist was discharged from the same facility on Sunday, October 22 and having experienced health issues for some time, suffered a spike in sugar levels while at home.

This prompted his family to rush him to a nearby clinic, but his condition worsened, resulting in his transfer to KNH for advanced medical attention.

"Khaemba passed on at KNH. He had been rushed again after being discharged from the same facility on Sunday.

"Sugar levels went high while at home. He was rushed to a nearby clinic, but he got worse still, before being rushed back to KNH," a message by his colleagues seen by Viral Tea read in part.

Unfortunately, he passed away on Tuesday morning.
