Metro Trans Suspends Operations Amid June 25 Protests
The bus operator also issued an apology to its customers for any inconvenience caused by the one-day service disruption.

Metro Trans announced on Tuesday, June 24, that it would temporarily halt its operations on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, because of the ongoing protests.
In a public notice, the company confirmed that regular services are expected to resume on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
The bus operator also issued an apology to its customers for any inconvenience caused by the one-day service disruption.
"Dear Clients, Partners, and Staff, We wish to inform you that our operations will be temporarily suspended on Wednesday due to the planned demonstrations. Normal services will resume on Thursday, 26th June 2025," the statement read in part.
"We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The safety of our clients, partners, and staff remains our highest priority."
