Controversial content creator, Brian Chira Wambui was intoxicated and reported to have sparked chaos in an entertainment joint before he was killed in a road accident along the Ndenderu-Ruaka Road in Kiambu County on Saturday, March 16.

A report filed at the Karuri traffic base in Kiambaa sub-county obtained by Viral Tea revealed that Chira was in the company of his friend whom he bumped into outside Cielo Resort in the Gacharage area.

At the time, Chira was revealed to have been thrown out of the joint by security guards for allegedly causing chaos.

"It happened that they were coming from Ciero Resort at the Gacharage area near Total Petrol Station where the friend had passed while on his way to his house and found Brian Chira being taken out of the resort by security guards claiming he was drunk and causing chaos and the resort was closing," read the police report in part.

On approaching the Gacharage roundabout, Chira had requested his friend and a bodaboda rider to take him back home, passing the service lane towards Ruaka but bound for Ndenderu on the wrong side.

On reaching the location, Chira alighted the bodaboda and ran towards the main road with his friend following suit, bearing in mind that he was under the influence.

Before the friend could reach him, he was run over by a white Mitsubishi Canter which did not stop.

Police arrived at the scene and moved his body to the City Mortuary where a section of fans and family turned up for viewing. Photos seen by Viral Tea showed the deceased at the mortuary dressed in an Arsenal jersey.

Quarters took to their different social media platforms to console the family of the departed TikToker, even as others struggled to come to terms with the news of his demise.

Chira who quickly rose to fame on TikTok had recently taken a break from social media raising concern on his whereabouts.

"I just took a break from a year of chaos. I'm fine. Hang in there. It's not every day that's a trending day. I had to work on myself and I feel better now," he said in January.

Chira first went viral in December 2022 for his witness statement regarding a tragic road accident on Nakuru County’s Ngata Highway in which 11 people lost their lives.

“My name is Chira, I am called Brian Chira and I saw the whole accident. It happened that a lorry was coming up from the other side and there was a matatu. And then (he said after pausing, closing his eyes and smiling), suddenly, there were cries from people around, nduru nduru, and then we came out of the…so it happened that there were two ladies out of the matatu and they were beheaded. It’s tragic,” began Chira at the time as those around him kept wondering and asking aloud what was wrong with him.

He landed in court in July 2023 after being arrested for defaming and sharing TikTok star Azziad Nasenya’s private information with the public.
