Tables Turn As Bomet Groom Exposes Bride For Having Another Man
The groom slammed Chepkoech for concealing the affair from him and deceiving him until the day of the wedding, which was on Saturday, December 9.

Amos Rono, the Bomet groom whose wedding was reportedly cancelled by the bride at the last minute, accused his wife-to-be of calling off the wedding based on having another man.
Speaking to the media on Monday, December 11, Rono revealed that the 23-year-old bride-to-be, Nelly Chepkoech, called off the wedding hours before the D-day as she had disclosed to him her extra-marital affair.

"The wedding could have happened yesterday (Saturday) but the bride revealed that she had another person somewhere. She had not told me about him before. So the wedding did not happen because of what she said," Rono stated.
After the wedding was cancelled, Rono announced that he decided to dump Chepkoech for what was termed as a reckless action, though he wished her the best in her life and on her journey to find another husband.
"Another thing, I have decided to leave her and let her go to succeed in her life or to find another husband. Even though she said it unintentionally, I have forgiven her and if she comes back, I let her go with a clean heart and wish her prosperity completely," Rono added, seemingly fighting back his tears.
"She was to become my wife and her father played a key role in helping us plan this marriage. She however came to me a day before the wedding and informed me of this other guy."
He lauded the father-in-law for telling him the truth despite that being the hard option. Meanwhile, the groom's mother condemned the lady's behaviour and asserted that she should never be part of the family.
She pointed an accusing finger at the 23-year-old for complaining that she was too young to tie the knot, arguing that Chepkoech had appeared happy up until when she cancelled the wedding at the eleventh hour.
"She complained she was not ready and we agreed but I will not allow her to come here again since she claims to be young," she fired.
Chepkoech on her part had set the record straight by revealing that it was the church leadership who urged her to cancel the wedding.
"We were supposed to celebrate a wedding in Kapsoyo. We had diligently planned this occasion for two months, pooling funds in a WhatsApp group to cover the expenses.
"Unfortunately, the reverend advised us to postpone the event, and we did not know what to do. Both of us shed tears," she said, pinning blame on the church in part.
Chepkoech then dismissed claims that she had abandoned her man by cancelling her wedding, stating that she was at home waiting for what would transpire next.
The church had initially faulted Chepkoech for refusing to submit her documents to process their marriage certificate, as the pastor had informed congregants that attempts to have her reconsider her decision and move ahead with the wedding plans bore no fruit.
The saga spilled over to social media platforms with a section of netizens claiming that she had run away. Quarters criticized her for dumping the groom when he had already paid the bride price and argued that her abrupt decision cost the organisers Ksh50,000.
