Content creator and influencer, Azziad Nasenya revealed that she was to relocate to another country on various occasions, including in 2020, the same year she went viral across Kenya for the first time.

Speaking to YouTuber Eve Mungai on the sidelines of the Jamhuri Day celebrations on Monday, December 12, Nasenya recounted her visit to Berlin, Germany to see her family, having been to Paris, France, for a gig over the weekend.

While stating that she misses her family based in Europe, she added that there were plans for her to move out of Kenya after her secondary school studies before the COVID-19 pandemic broke out and lockdowns kept the borders of many countries closed to visitors.

Nasenya further noted that she was to relocate in October 2022 but decided otherwise.

"Actually I was supposed to relocate after Form Four and then something happened that I had to stay, and then in 2020 COVID happened and there was a lockdown everywhere and then I went viral.

"We waited and then I was supposed to relocate in October this year and then I was like no," she revealed.

The 22-year-old added that she was still keeping the idea of relocating to Germany in the open, though she has since built a solid brand in Kenya and she would have a bigger reason to leave the country.

"I don't know, I guess time will tell because as time goes by, as we continue living, maybe our paths continue changing or rather what things we want to achieve in life continue shifting over a period of time," she added.

Having returned from a trip abroad, Azziad noted that she instantly misses Kenyan delicacies during her international travels.

According to her, she was to stay away for longer but she had to return to Kenya early owing to work demands.

"I came back two days ago - Saturday- I was not supposed to but I got a job so I had to come back, and then in the middle of it, I was supposed to be here," she went on.

Azziad was present at the Nyayo National Stadium for the Jamhuri Day celebrations where she alongside other content creators entertained guests and attendees present.

Other content creators that turned up for the 59th Jamhuri Day celebrations include comedians Njugush, Terence Creative, MCA Tricky, Crazy Kennar and Jacky Vike. They held a mock relay race alongside sprinter Ferdinand Omanyala in front of President William Ruto alongside other delegates in attendance.
