Details Of US-Based Author's Visit To Kibera Slums

Happy Ogunjimi, the author of Outcomes of Civilization in Africa and founder of Benefits for Africa (Benefrica), paid a visit to the Kibera Pride Initiative Children’s Home in the Kibra Slums in Nairobi on Saturday, August 20 together with his family.
Ogunjimi is travelling across Africa with “Benefits for Africa” (benefrica) to raise awareness for African leaders to implement benefits for women, infants, and children in our countries as well as for them to work on solutions to problems like homelessness, poor education, poverty, conflicts, and corruption.

“Our main goal is to transform African societies so that everyone can achieve some level of national consciousness.
"I’ve always been passionate about creating a better Africa with all the advantages of the west and the amenities that make for happy living in the culture of the west. In order to create a better society for every African, my team and I at Benefrica have been working on this," he said as quoted in a press statement.
Ogunjimi and his group made a donation of food and clothing to the Kibera children’s home, which offers necessities, opportunities, and education to underprivileged children.
Benefrica is on board with bringing benefits to Africa. advantages that will spruce up its social and cultural developments.
However, it terms the task as not an easy one, because Africa's state, federal and public offices don’t involve much in financial aid services or beneficiary programs.
It seeks to associate benefits to the way of the people, through a mission to fight hunger, bring clean air, and clean water.
"Our primary mission is to create real change in African societies to liberate every individual to a certain degree of national consciousness
"I've always had a passion for a better Africa that will come with all the western benefits and things that facilitate good living in the western culture. I and my team Benefrica have been working on how to make a better society for every African," Ogunjimi described on Benefrica's official website.
