Lawyer Linked To Viral June 25 Schedule Missing, LSK Says 10 Subarus Raided His Home
Multiple accounts highlighted that up to 10 Subaru vehicles thronged to his residence on Saturday, June 21, with officers breaking into it.

The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) has confirmed that Advocate Ndiangui Kinyagia is missing. This comes after he first shared an alleged invitation with a timetable depicting events that would take place during the June 25 demonstrations.
Led by President Faith Odhiambo and the Public Interest Litigation Directorate, the LSK on Monday, June 23 met the family of Kinyagia, who revealed troubling circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
Multiple accounts highlighted that up to 10 Subaru vehicles thronged to his residence on Saturday, June 21, with officers breaking into it. Kinyagia was revealed to have last made contact that afternoon, with his mother.

"According to eyewitnesses, his own Neighbours, on Saturday afternoon, Mr. Kinyagia’s residence was surrounded by between six and ten Subaru vehicles. His home was forcibly broken into, and the last communication he had was with his mother around 1:00 PM that day. Since then, he has disappeared without a trace," stated LSK.
"A report was filed at Kinoo Police Station, and an inventory of seized items—including laptops, passports, and electronic devices was submitted. However, his current whereabouts remain completely unknown."
The legal society criticised the incident, saying it bears the hallmarks of an enforced disappearance and a possible unlawful arrest or detention, and is thus demanding that authorities come clean on Kinyagia's disappearance. Kenyans with information on the matter were also urged to report to them.
"The LSK views it as a grave violation of constitutional rights and a direct attack on the rule of law in Kenya. We are demanding immediate and transparent action from the authorities. We call on any individual with relevant information no matter how small, to come forward," added the statement.
LSK assured that it will not relent until Kinyagia is safely accounted for and those responsible are held to full account.
Operating under X username 'Daguin Dd', Kinyagia on June 19 shared a post of the timetable highlighting the agenda for the June 25 protests, including a march to the State House.
A review of his account activity by Viral Tea revealed that he had last posted on June 19, 2025, with his last repost being on June 20, 2025, a matter which sparked concerns amongst Kenyans on his whereabouts and raised fears that he might have been abducted.
Earlier reports claimed that officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) went to his residence in Kinoo, Nairobi at around 2 pm, broke into the residence and carried away personal items.
They were believed to have first held negotiations with his caretaker for hours before being allowed to break into his house at around 9 pm.
According to neighbors, the officers arrived in around 10 vehicles and remained at the residence for nine hours. During the operation, they seized two laptops, two phones, both old and current passports, and a yellow fever card. After compiling an inventory of the seized items with the caretaker, they secured the house with their own padlock.
Kinyagia, a 31-year-old IT specialist, was not at home during the raid, and the officers reportedly did not present a court order authorizing them to enter the premises. This incident has sparked fresh concerns over the recent crackdown on Gen Zs using social media to air out their views and exercising their freedom of expression.
A petition has since been filed seeking the repealment of Sections 22 and 23 of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, which have led to the prosecution of several Kenyans, including the recent high-profile cases of Rose Njeri and the late Albert Ojwang.
