30-year-old Kenyan influencer and content creator, Natalie Tewa Wanjiru on Monday, December 4 raised eyebrows after she mysteriously deleted all photos featuring her and her fiance, Francis Mbugua Mugane.
By the time of publishing this article, Viral Tea did spot checks on Tewa's official Instagram account from February 12, 2023, when she announced her engagement to Mugane, to date and found no traces of the couple on her side.
Moreover, when we perused her Instagram stories, we only found posts and reposts from her and her friends as she marked her 30th birthday on Sunday, December 3 in an exclusive party.

This was the same on Mugane's IG account despite the little posting activity as the period between his two last posts happened to be more than a month apart.
It is yet to be established if the move by the couple to delete photos of and unfollow each other is a tactic to keep their relationship away from the public eye, as many would see a wise decision, especially in high-profile relationships, or if there was rumoured turbulence between them, who are yet to disclose when they would wed after close to 10 months of being engaged.
On Sunday, February 12, she announced through her Instagram stories that she was engaged to Mugane, her longtime boyfriend, a travel, fashion and food content creator based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The two lovers had hosted friends in Nairobi when Mbugua popped the big question, and the ravishingly beautiful diva responded with "Yes".
Mbugua and Tewa were reported to have gone out on a date with friends in Nairobi when the surprise proposal emerged thanks to Mbugua proposing to her with a glittering diamond ring, which she flaunted on her IG while sharing a series of clips of the couple cuddled together.
She narrated how Mbugua had planned everything perfectly, hiding it all from her and catching her by surprise when the big moment came on Saturday, February 11.
“In the spirit of love, I’ve got some news. I said yes. I was caught very unaware! He hid this from me very well. VVS diamonds look very good on me and you know my style very well, love it. May God bless our union,” she stated then.
Before the engagement announcement, Tewa has always been private about her personal life and has explained that she’s learned to be more cautious about what she shares online.
She revealed that she’s learned the hard way about the consequences of oversharing and now carefully curates her online presence to avoid harsh criticism.
The series of photos of her engagement in an intimate ceremony in Nyali, Mombasa, therefore, marked the first time photos of the two were released on the internet, given that they don't have pictures of each other on their respective feeds, possibly to avoid gossip as well.
