"I still remember the first time I received a call to start working at KBC, I was so excited I cried so much! For six years, I have met people who have moulded me into the journalist I am today. Today I cried a lot saying goodbye because I am not so good at goodbyes and I had gotten pretty attached to the National Broadcaster," she stated in part.
She thanked KBC for teaching her the importance of being professional as a member of the Fourth Estate and instilling in her "some pretty good work ethic na for that nitawamiss sana lakini tutakutana field!" A small farewell party was held on Thursday, November 7 by her colleagues, topped off with a farewell cake.
