President William Ruto announced that Kenyans who would attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations at Nyayo Stadium on Monday, December 12 would get scholarships from the University of Arizona in the United States (US).

The scholarship involves a course in global entrepreneurship and innovation from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

The 100 Million Learners Bootcamp on Global Entrepreneurship & Innovation boot camp is a partnership between Thunderbird and Innovation Jamhuri by the Kenyan Government and has been taking in new students ever since the announcement by the Head of State.

"As promised, everyone present in this stadium today will get a free scholarship on global entrepreneurship and innovation from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. It is now time to keep the promise.

"There is a QR Code near you. Scan and access the scholarship now. A 16-unit course that would have cost you Ksh100,000, is now accessible to you for free, courtesy of the Innovation Jamhuri," he announced during his speech.

The BootCamp which offers courses that include details about the 4th Industrial Revolution, Organizational Readiness for Scaling and Expansion, Creating a Business Culture for Growth, Social Entrepreneurship, and Intellectual Property in Business can be taken by any learner at no cost, thanks to the generous philanthropic gift from the Najafi Global Initiative.

The Bootcamp is appropriate for learners from all educational levels. It is the entry-level program of the 100 Million Learners Global Initiative.

How To Register

Interested learners are required to visit this link or alternatively scan the QR code as shown above that will take them to the registration portal of the Boot Camp.

Once there, you will need to fill in your details including both your first and last name, email, date of birth, mobile phone and address line, city of residence as well as the country.

Also required are gender, work experience, highest education qualification, non-academic credentials, the industry you are working in and employment status. Once done, you will be needed to provide a reason(s) for pursuing the course.

When you are done with your details, click submit and a verification email will be sent to you asking you to verify your email address and activate your account.
