A video surfaced on Saturday, December 30 showing an argument between content creator and rapper Diana Marua (Diana B) and her husband, singer Kevin Bahati over him forcing the former to leave a nightclub prematurely.

The 1 minute-30 second video shared by the Mtaachana Tuu hitmaker on his social media handles showed him inquiring why his wife, who was tipsy at the time, why she appeared to be upset with him.

Marua however retorted by expressing her anger at her husband for forcibly cutting short her time to have fun with herself, threatening that she would be the one to ultimately decide if she wanted to leave at her pleasure.

Here is the video:

"You forced me out of the club. I have not enjoyed myself the way I wanted to enjoy...tomorrow (December 31) I call the shots.

"You will not make me leave a nightclub at the time you want, I'll be the one to tell you to come get me," she ordered.

Bahati tried compelling her to explain the decision to bar her husband from controlling her, seemingly expressing concern that she was making a fool of herself in her drunken state.

The couple had a good time with their fans in Kakamega after they were invited by United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary-General, Cleophas Malala, to perform at his Supercup tournament, an event Diana claimed was tailored mainly towards her to enjoy.

"I'm enjoying myself, imagine I was on top of seats and then you come and force me out...and I know all the songs, these are the dance moves...I enjoyed myself 70 percent, tomorrow I finish the 30 percent...this event was meant for me," she continued as Bahati burst out laughing.

"It was meant for me...the rest, the fans can enjoy themselves."

The pair made it to the event where Bahati impressed with his catchy tunes as heard in clips shared by Diana.

The couple partied with their fans as seen in videos showing them pouring each other drinks, one of them capturing Marua smoking shisha with a fan.

Diana was dressed in a beautiful Ankara outfit of an unbuttoned shirt and shorts. She also had on a white blouse underneath. Bahati on his part wore Denim jeans, a black shirt and a bomber jacket paired with white sneakers.

The couple have been captured on numerous occasions partying with each other, though the video Bahati exposed sent Kenyans questioning the nature of their relationship given Marua's past life including her confession of dating multiple men in her 20s to fund her luxurious lifestyle.

“I used to date men for money at some point in my life because I lacked the whole of my life to a point where all I wanted was a good life, all I wanted was to live well. I dated guys for money and I had one who paid my rent, another did my house shopping and I had someone to buy me clothes and another to take me out,” she said in a YouTube video whose snippet of it found its way to Twitter on November 17, 2022, and went viral.

Meanwhile, Bahati promised Diana that he wanted to marry her in a real wedding. They were meant to tie the knot on December 12, 2023, but they postponed the plans, and are yet to announce new dates for their big day.

The controversial couple got engaged in 2019 during Bahati's sold-out New Year's Eve show in Thika, and since then, they've welcomed three children together, in addition to Diana's son from a previous relationship.

The love story reached a milestone when Bahati officially paid dowry for his wife, Marua, after seven years of living together.
