Ababu Namwamba's Ex-Wife Priscah Mwaro Dies A Day After Birthday
Mwaro was found dead in her house in Nairobi on Wednesday, March 8.

Priscah Mwaro, the former wife of Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba, is dead.
Mwaro was found dead in her house in Nairobi on Wednesday, March 8. Her body was moved to the MP Shah mortuary.
“We’re still seeking to establish what led to the death of our loved one, Priscah. We are yet to get answers for quite a number of questions,” a close family member revealed to The Standard.
“She might have given up the fight,” her close friend weighed in.

Her cause of death was yet to be established though people close to her revealed to the media that she had “gone through a lot in the last three years”.
A spot check by Viral Tea on her social media profile revealed that she frequently posted about KENGEN, where she worked as an administrator since 2010.
She held a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Human Resources) from the University of Nairobi, where she studied between 2013 and 2015.
Mwaro, who hailed from Port Victoria in Bunyala West Ward, Busia County, celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, before the news about her death broke the following day.
She was married to CS Namwamba for eight years, and together they had three children. Theirs was a union to be admired by many as they shared bright moments with their online followers, but as fate would have it, they unceremoniously parted ways in 2019.
The couple accused each other of infidelity, which they said was the main reason they separated. Efforts for them to reconcile hit a snag after Namwamba refused to take her back.
“I have told him that he is part of our family since they have three children with Priscah, and in such cases, ties between families cannot be ignored, and it was up to him to decide whether he still wants to live with Priscah or not.
"You cannot force a man to live with a woman. If he has decided to call it quits with our daughter, so be it. I pleaded with him, but he was adamant and unforgiving,” Mwaro's brother, Patrick Mwaro, revealed in a past interview.
