As a distinguished guest, Kenyatta's attendance highlighted the strong ties between him and the family of King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan.
The wedding ceremony was a breathtaking affair, with the opulent Al Husseinieh Palace serving as a symbolic venue. The prince's parents, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania coincidentally got married at the same location in 1993.
The groom's exquisite wedding suit drew inspiration from his father's attire on his own special day, with the sleeves serving as a tribute to the enduring style of King Abdullah II and King Abdullah I.
It was the bride who however stole the show after arriving in a custom-made 1968 Rolls-Royce Phantom. Rajwa donned a bespoke white silk crepe gown with long sleeves, featuring an elegant asymmetric neckline and a gracefully draped bodice.
The gown, created by Elie Saab Haute Couture, was beautifully complemented by a diamond tiara and a sweeping veil, completing her stunning ensemble.
The regal atmosphere was further enhanced by the presence of distinguished guests, including royalty, and prominent figures from around the world such as Prince William & Kate Middleton as well as US First Lady Jill Biden.
Others in attendance included President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Prince William and Kate Middleton, apparent heirs to the throne of the United Kingdom (UK). Biden's presence was however seen as a tactic by the US to cement its ties with the Middle Eastern partners.
The union between Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdallah II and Miss Rajwah Khalid Alseif symbolized a coming together of two families and cultures, embodying the spirit of harmony and love.
The wedding came after nine months of engagement and lots of planning to accommodate the guest list of 1,700 invitees.
Later, the king of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Abdullah II of Jordan, hosted a dinner banquet for the guests of the wedding of Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein.
The wedding was seen as a great opportunity for the Saudi Arabian royal family and the Jordanian royal family to come together.
The bride is a 29-year-old Saudi architect and is familiarly connected to Mohammed Bin Salman who is the crown prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She studied at Syracuse University, a private university in New York, USA.
The groom is a 28-year-old and heir apparent to the throne of Jordan. He graduated with international history from Georgetown University in Washington DC, USA.
