Eric Omondi, Obinna Fight During Live Kiss FM Interview [VIDEO]

Comedian Eric Omondi on Friday, February 10 came into physical blows with Kiss 100 FM co-presenter Oga Obinna in the presence of Sheila Kwamboka (Kwambox) during a live radio interview.

It all started when Obinna criticised Omondi regarding his outfit, which was a blue vest that showed his bare chest, to which the comedian argued that he was reaping the benefits of him working out.

However, Obinna was less than pleased and challenged him to further explain the reason behind his dress code.

"Why are you always walking naked? Like you never feel like the younger generation is looking up to you like you need to cover yourself, behave appropriately," Obinna blasted.

Omondi had previously boasted how no comedian could compete with him at the moment in the whole of Africa, to which Obinna denied by stating that very many comedians in the scene were handily beating him.

While trying to praise himself, Omondi however shrugged off Obinna by revealing that "You're a radio presenter..." to which Obinna responded by telling Omondi that he was living in a bubble.

"I don't know, you tell me. I am an entertainer, I do all of them. It's none of your business.

"You know you leave on your high horse calling yourself the president of comedy. When was the last time you did a proper comedy show in Kenya? You're always being called in the ushago shows," Obinna hit back.

"I go on tour," he interjected after Kwamboxx had tried intervening to cut the tension by saying that the comedian was currently on tour.

Eric went on to list the areas he has toured in the country, but Obinna dismissed each one of them, with the back and forth going on for a few minutes before the co-presenter questioned his sexuality with his cross-dressing.

This then angered Omondi who burst out of his seat and went for Obinna just as his security detail was moving to restrain both of them.

Many Kenyans have since questioned whether or not the emotions exhibited during the fight are real or whether it was all a staged act.

The interview with Omondi at Kiss FM had previously angered Obinna, who threatened to leave the station if Kwambox moved ahead with plans to invite him for the interview.
