Betty Kyallo Set To Join TV47
It is said that Kyallo is set to take over the Friday night news followed by an entertainment segment similar to what she had at the Mediamax Limited-owned TV station
Media personality Betty Kyallo is set to join Cape Media Limited TV station, TV47, which has been on a rampant recruitment spree of some of the most famous media figures in the country.
Reports reaching Viral Tea's newsdesk revealed that Kyallo, a former K24 TV anchor, would make her debut on TV47 at an undisclosed date.
It is said that Kyallo is set to take over the Friday night news followed by an entertainment segment similar to what she had at the Mediamax Limited-owned TV station, a move which could pose a serious threat to established mainstream media players.

"She is currently working on a promo for her show and she might be starting soon, as soon as next month. She will only be doing the Friday night news," a source close to the media personality was quoted as saying.
The media guru was yet to respond to the reports. Nonetheless, this would mark Kyallo's comeback to the silver screens, having burst into the limelight as a news anchor for KTN Home, before she left for K24.
Kyallo later left the Mediamax-owned TV station to focus on her business. Recently, she hinted that she was getting back to TV when she asked another local TV station not to be scared of her TV comeback.
During her break from TV news anchoring, Betty and her sisters starred in a reality show dubbed 'Kyallo Culture.'
She recently hit nationwide headlines after a notice of auction for items from her salon, Flair by Betty surfaced online.
Keysian Auctioneers, which was contracted to oversee the process, announced that the exercise is set to commence on Wednesday, April 17 at 11:00 am.
The auctioneers added that the process was necessitated as a call to distress for rent pitting the beauty queen against her landlord.
Kyallo, moments after the notice, lamented the challenges of running a business in Kenya, accusing landlords of turning a blind eye in terms of reducing rental costs.
"Obviously running a business in Kenya has become so difficult. Landlords don't want to reduce rent and it becomes a huge burden on businesses that are struggling because of the economic slowdown. I let it go.
"I am happier. I sleep better. My peace of mind is more important than a name. I'm good. Also After 2 months of expansion, we reopen Aftershave by Flair, Upperhill, La Baita. Gentlemen Come through. I'll be there today!" she shared on her Instagram stories.
