Capital FM Sports journalist Sean Cardovillis was an avid social media guru, sharing three tweets on X (formerly Twitter) and a post on Facebook close to 24 hours before he died on Saturday, September 9.

35 minutes after the Kipyegon post, the veteran journalist shared another video to update his followers on the ongoing Greece Rally.

Notably, his last activity on X was a repost from Moni Bhachu who shared a poster to another exclusive interview with rally legend Baldev Chager.

The poster was shared by the late journalist on Facebook at 11.31 am on Friday which revealed that he was scheduled to host a show on Motorsport 411 which showcases the latest and the very best of Motorsport in East and Central Africa

"EXCLUSIVE! We catch up with multiple Kenya National Rally Champion and Safari Rally winner Baldev Chager to find out what he's been up to since he took a break from the sport at the end of 2021. Chager has a message for the new KMSF Chairman Maina Muturi about getting the entries back in the local rally championship.

"And, we speak to Jose Sardinha - who created a little bit of history by entering FOUR different motorsports disciplines in FOUR consecutive weeks across Kenya," the post read.

Viral Tea has since established that Cardovillis was found dead outside his house along Rhapta Road, Westlands, Nairobi, where he lived alone.

According to the police and witnesses, the body was found at his staircase by a cleaner who had gone to clean the area leading to his house on the fourth floor of an apartment.
