Mercedes Benz Which Woman Was Thrown Out Of In Nairobi Involved In Accident

A black Mercedes Benz C-class was on Saturday, February 17 involved in an accident, merely hours after one of its passengers was filmed dragging a young woman out in broad daylight.

A grainy video seen by Viral Tea and posted by controversial blogger, Edgar Obare, captured the vehicle leaning on its left side after winding up in a ditch.

Its occupants had stepped out of the car to inspect any possible damage that might have occurred as a result of the minor accident, which was yet to be established at the time of publishing this article.

The occupants included a man dressed in a white shirt who was believed to have ruthlessly dragged the woman out of the car.

Notably, this caused mixed reactions from many Kenyans on social media believing that this was a case of karma, following the altercation that sparked uproar across social media platforms.

During the viral incident, the man appeared to take a short glance at the light-skinned woman who was wearing a short black skirt and a black top before pushing her to the pavement and getting into the co-driver seat, leaving the woman struggling to recollect herself.

Meanwhile, an unidentified man stood by and watched the events unfold, unfazed by the man's actions in assaulting the woman and at one point held the car's door open before closing the door of the passenger seat.

The man also stood helpless as he watched the woman sporting braids struggle to get up as the vehicle drove away, staring in disbelief regarding what had happened to her.

Another gentleman is seen appearing from the corner, rushing over to check on the woman who is now groaning by the roadside. Meanwhile, a female voice from behind the camera asks, "Huyu jamaa shida yake ni nini? (What is the guy's problem?)"

The video found its way on social media platforms including X with Kenyans online wondering what the man's motive was in kicking the woman out of the sleek German vehicle.

However, others threw their support behind the man saying they needed to hear both sides of the story before passing any judgement, amidst claims that there may have been a heated altercation between the two before the incident was captured on camera.

Through the labyrinth of comments, other people said that this was a wake-up call to parents of daughters, citing it as an example to train your girls early in life to avoid such incidents.

The police are still yet to issue a statement on the matter let alone take action on the perpetrators, this coming at the height of campaigns conducted against rising femicide and gender-based violence cases in the country.
