The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced the replacement of six teachers from Itumbe DOK Primary School in Kisii who were arrested for forcing pupils to perform mock sex as a form of punishment.
In six different letters dated Friday, February 3 and penned by Nyamache Sub-County TSC director James Wanyela, teachers James Oigoro Ocharo, Wilfred Momanyi Ochenge, Florence Nyabuto, Isaac Osoro, Morara George Igworo and Odong'a Obedi Nyanchong'i were transferred to the institution with immediate effect.
Ocharo has been transferred from Giasaiga DEB Primary School while Ochenge and Nyabuto were ordered to leave Bosana DEB Primary School and Mosasa DOK Primary School respectively.

Osoro and Igworo have also been transferred from Kionduso PAG Primary School and Itibonge Primary School respectively while Nyanchong'i has been posted to the school after being assigned to Nyamache Sub-County.
"Ensure you hand over all the school property in your possession before you proceed to your new station.
"By copy of this letter, both head teachers are required to inform this office and the secretary Teachers Service Commission of the date you are released and received at your new station through a casualty/ appointment return," read one of the letters in part.
The interdicted teachers included Everlyne Moraa, Angelica Joseph, Catherine Mokaya, Moraa Nyairo, William Isuka and Gladys Kenyanya who were earlier detained at Nyangusu police station for two more days.
They were on Thursday, February 2 found to have breached clauses 9 (1) and (c) (11) of the Third Schedule of the TSC Act, 2012 as well as subjected the minors to psychological torture and embarrassment by sharing the video clip of them performing the indecent acts, which went viral and caused an uproar on social media.
While making a ruling on an application to detain the teachers for 14 days on Friday, Ogembo Court Senior Principal Magistrate Paul Bewott said the suspects will be held for two days to allow time for the investigation officer to conclude investigations.
The officer will be able to record witnesses' statements within the two-day period to enable the prosecution to obtain the charges to prosecute the suspects in court.
TSC suspended the teachers and thereafter directed them to immediately vacate the office and submit their defence responses within 21 days.
If after the investigations they are found guilty, they will be subjected to disciplinary action as announced earlier by Education CS Ezekiel Machogu.
Through their lawyer, Edward Begi, the teachers however pleaded with the court to have them released to return to class, given that only one teacher was left in school.
