An undated video surfaced on Thursday, September 28 showing a bitter argument between a man and a woman at a residence along Ngong Road in Nairobi.

The video seen by Viral Tea showed the man who was initially seated suddenly slapping the woman alleged to be his girlfriend in a secluded eatery at Tsavo Skywalk along Ngong Road.

The man initial reports had identified as Raymond Nduga had risen from his seat and violently descended on her in full view of another person seated next to the couple, seemingly unbothered by what was taking place.

"I am done. Leave here and go,’’ Nduga could be heard saying as he continued to rain slaps on her.

Meanwhile, the woman pleaded with him in an attempt to calm him down, referring to him as 'babe' but her pleas fell on deaf ears. He continued assaulting her and telling her that the relationship was over.

Despite details of what led to the altercation being unclear, rumours indicated that he had caught her cheating allegedly with the man who was filmed sitting next to the two during the altercation. Viral Tea could not independently verify the rumours.

The video spread like wildfire across social media with many netizens calling for authorities to take action against Nduga for committing acts similar to domestic violence.

One netizen on X turned the heat on the establishment, Tsavo, whose X (formerly Twitter) depicts it as a real estate company, stating "This happened at one of your buildings. The one on Ngong Road, Tsavo Skywalk!"

"We may not have context, but it is now on you to figure it out. Please. Context or not though, this is wrong. I hear this man is called Ray and he is a nuisance to the residents," the X user commented.

"I just don’t understand how someone is being beaten and still there seated. How poor is their adrenaline release or action? Is she used to being mishandled?

"Does she have parents or guardians? I just don’t get it even when I try to blame the perpetrator…just ran for your dear life before we start typing RIP," Sang Debby weighed in.

When Viral Tea conducted spot checks on Nduga's social media profile, an old screenshot revealed that Nduga and the woman had been in a toxic relationship.

On Christmas Eve in 2022, Nduga reportedly forced out the lady following a fight, leading to her spending the night in the cold.

Six months later, the lady tagged the man on a Facebook post where she was calling out her father for 'intimidating' her to leave the relationship.

The most common form of domestic violence in Kenya is physical abuse. Section 234 of the Penal Code provides that any person who unlawfully does grievous harm to another is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for life.

Neither Nduga, the Tsavo Company nor the affected woman had yet to issue a statement on the alleged incident by the time of publishing this article.
