Former Nairobi Diaries actress Dorah Clara Ojenge alias Mishi Dorah has issued a stinging response to comedian Eric Omondi and socialite Shakilla in a recent interview.

The two, known for their feature in the Wife Material entertainment show, used the interview on Monday, August 1 to discuss the ranking of top socialites in the country, with Omondi dressing like a woman who happens to be his female alter-ego, Divalicious.

The duo were discussing a recent incident whereby Mishi Dorah was arrested and charged at the Kibera law courts with obtaining Ksh152,550 credit by false pretences after dining and drinking expensive liquor at a city club. The ordeal earned her a jail term lasting 38 days.

Omondi had revealed that Mishi was broke following the ordeal, something that did not sit well with Shakilla, who cut him short and went on a fierce rant against her.

"Stop mentioning cockroaches in this show, who is Mishi Dorah? Why are you mentioning her here?" Shakilla posed as Omondi was defending her by affirming that he was her friend.

The upcoming socialite proceeded to dress down the once famous counterpart, ranging from her looks to her grooming before deeming her old news.

"She is everything bad, everything about her is bad. Her nails, her talk, her makeup, her looks, and her hair is bad.

"And she is gone, we left her, we are in the current, we are in the era of Amber Ray, Shakila and Divalicious, so let's forget about her," she continued.

Omondi however kept defending Mishi, to which Shakilla responded by demanding him to stay away from her. He noted that Mishi was not broke and was the victim of being conned by a Nigerian national.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, August 2, Mishi warned Shakilla that she was starting a verbal war she knows she will not come out unscathed.

"Don't start what you cannot finish, remember that you cannot teach an old cat how to dance.

"Ever seen how cockroaches walk in microwaves or ovens when they are on like Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego? Be very careful with this insect, it's small but mighty. It can survive anything and anywhere," she ranted.

During an interview with Dr Ofweneke after she was released in July, the actress confessed to going through tough times since the incident. Before the arrest, she was hosting an event at the club and had an agreement that they provide her with free alcohol but because of excitement, she admitted to going overboard with the orders.

“What happened was apart from acting I host gigs too. That day I was hosting a gig there. Usually, when you have a gig they are supposed to pay you and give you free alcohol. I had a deal with Golden Ice but they told me they can’t pay me.

"The deal we had was that they provide us with alcohol because I had guests. We had so much fun and it was more than I expected. It was actually more than I bargained for. We had agreed they give me two bottles of Hennessey and two bottles of Belaire,” she narrated.

Mishi is said to have ordered two chicken breasts valued at Ksh3,000, a cocktail (Ksh2,000), two soda bottles (Ksh500), mineral water (Ksh400), three cans of energy drinks (Ksh1,650), six bottles of Belaire Lux (Ksh75,000), and seven bottles of Hennessy VS (Ksh70,000).

“Days later I get a message on my DM from them and I start appreciating the club for how they treated us only for them to ask me if I can clear my bill. I was confused. I thought it was a prank.

"I told my producer and she told me her card doesn’t work in Kenya. I was later arrested in Westlands at a friend’s house who had prepared dinner for me and my guest cast members to enjoy," she added.

The vocal social media influencer went on to reveal that during her jail time, her children were taken to the orphanage and her house was locked.
