Easy Coach has unveiled revised fares set to take effect from Monday, April 20, 2026, signaling a shift in travel costs across its main routes.

In a notice dated Saturday, April 18, 2026, the company outlined updated ticket prices on its key routes, attributing the changes to the recent fuel price adjustments.

Under the new structure, passengers travelling from Nairobi to destinations such as Kisumu, Maseno, Mbale (Vihiga), Siaya, Butere, and the Ndori–Bondo–Usenge route will now pay Ksh1,900—an increase of Ksh150 from the previous rate.

Likewise, fares to Ugunja (Siaya), Bumala, and Busia have risen to Ksh1,950 from Ksh1,800.

Travellers heading to Kakamega, Mumias, Webuye, and Kimilili will be charged Ksh1,800, while the cost of a ticket to Kitale has been adjusted to Ksh1,850.

For Southern Nyanza routes, fares remain comparatively lower, with passengers to Oyugis, Kisii, Kendubay, and Homabay paying Ksh1,550.

Meanwhile, those travelling to Rodikopany, Ndhiwa, Sori, Mbita, Migori, Sirare, Kehancha, and Rongo will part with Ksh1,600.

The fare from Nairobi to Eldoret has also been revised to Ksh1,700, reflecting a Ksh100 increase.

The adjustments follow a recent fuel price hike by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), which pushed up the cost of super petrol and diesel by Ksh17 and Ksh30, respectively.

Separately, ENA Coach announced similar fare changes just three days earlier, also citing the spike in fuel prices.

Under its revised pricing, passengers travelling from Nairobi to upcountry via Narok will pay Ksh1,700, while those using the Nakuru route will be charged Ksh1,800.

The Nairobi–Mombasa route now costs Ksh2,000, while travel between Kisii and Kisumu has been set at Ksh700.

Fares between Mombasa and upcountry destinations, in either direction, have been adjusted to Ksh3,000, with the company indicating the new rates took effect immediately.

In a statement issued on April 15, 2026, the company noted it had undertaken an operational review before implementing the changes, emphasizing that the move was necessary to maintain service quality.
