"Once again, we urge all to respect the privacy of those involved. Statement issued on behalf of the Oudas and Ciru Muriuki," she added.

The cause of death of the acclaimed actor was yet to be revealed. The late Ouda and Ciru joyously shared their engagement news in September 2023, captivating the hearts of many with their adorable moments.

In a life update video posted on Ciru’s Instagram page, the couple playfully teased their followers about recent events in their lives. Ciru humorously inquired about potential mishaps, such as getting a speeding ticket, before revealing the most precious part of the announcement; the engagement ring on her right hand.

Ciru Muriuki, known for her low-key approach to her relationships, surprised her followers with the news of her engagement as well as news that Ciru and Charles joined forces to create a podcast titled 'The Undiscovered Podcast.'

The podcast promised to take listeners on a captivating journey that explores the realms of art, culture, and music while engaging in meaningful conversations about the essence of life itself.

Ciru's decision to venture into this new project alongside Charles came after facing the loss of her job at the BBC due to retrenchment.

Charles, known for his contributions to various film projects like Makutano Junction, The First Grader and Count It Out, was not only a talented actor but also a distinguished film director and scriptwriter.

The departed was not just an actor; he was also a talented film director, scriptwriter, and events manager.

His outstanding skills and dedication earned him several prestigious awards, including the Best Director at the 2016 Asian American Film Lab 72 Hour Shoot Out and multiple awards at the NYC Indie Film Awards.

Recent projects featuring Charles Ouda include 'Salem' and 'Crime & Justice,' further solidified his reputation as a versatile and accomplished artist.

May Ouda rest in peace. Viral Tea sends its condolences to the family and friends of Ouda following the unfortunate demise.
