Four months after stunning the Kenyan celebrity space by announcing that she is a saved woman, Beauty entrepreneur and Marini Naturals Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michelle Ntalami has declared that she is no longer an androsexual.

On Tuesday, September 10, she denounced her association with the term, the very same one she had made famous in Kenya in January 2023.

Look back: The term became a trend on Twitter alongside 'Michelle Ntalami', who also reprimanded former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko who sensationally claimed that she had romantic relations with slain model and LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba.

For years, it wasn't established which team she played for considering her penchant for posting thirst trap photos of herself on her social media pages, before she found healing in God.

She had been through a nasty breakup with they/them, which she opened up on during countless interviews, but at the time, she decided on her real sexual orientation at the time which excited men across the country.

“There is nothing to hide about my sexuality, I have addressed it before on my social platforms. I am androsexual. The term is androsexual or an androphile – meaning that I am attracted to men or masculine energy. Yeah, it’s as simple as that.

"The men can shoot their shots because they are within the bracket of what I am attracted to. Ladies, they assume that that’s the only what I like and that’s not the case. I am attracted to men and masculine energy and I have been very open about that in recent years,” Ntalami explained on January 11, 2023, during an interview with Ankali Ray on Milele FM.

Her Stance On Androsexual & LGBTQ+ Now

"Dear Friends, I stand as a conqueror in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, as I share this testimony in obedience to God. Since my life-changing encounter with Christ, I no longer identify as androsexual. And for a long time now, I am not part of the LGBTQ+ community," Ntalami announced in her recent Instagram post, effectively cutting her ties with the LGBTQ+ community.

"I took time to seek God on this prevalent stronghold in our world today. God Himself revealed to me the truth about this path and how it goes against His Divine plan for humanity. I now understand that it is a spiritual attack from the devil by deceiving people out of their true purpose and identity."

Ntalami however noted that the path was not her true identity and that she briefly took what she termed as a wrong turn during a vulnerable time in her life when she was dealing with grief, loss and pain.

She believed it would bring healing and truth, but it shattered and confused me more. "Deep down, I knew it was never meant for me. On that day, God confirmed this, healed and set me free!" she recounted her salvation journey.

Turning to the LGBTQ+ community, she affirmed that she was not out to condemn its members, but rather empathised with their struggle and assured that she kept them in her prayers, with love and compassion.

"However, our feelings, preferences, experiences and culture does not determine the truth. Only God’s Word does. Friends, that is a wrong path. You are dealing with dark spiritual forces that are deeper than your own understanding. Get out while you can," she appealed.

Ntalami went on to add that there was some hope for those truly seeking freedom, to which she advised them to accept Jesus Christ into their lives.

"Let Him be the one to define your purpose, identity and sexuality. I also want to share a heartfelt apology to those I may have misled. It was never my intention. May my testimony point you to the only truth; Jesus Christ," she continued.

"Am I ashamed of my scars? Not at all! How then would you believe that our God is mighty to save? Thank you for walking with me! God asked me to share my story that it may shed a light to so many in bondage and spark a positive change in our society."

Ntalami concluded by reiterating her commitment to use her platform to influence for Jesus, affirming that "As bold as I was in the secular world, is as bold as I will be for Jesus. I, Michelle Ntalami, stand for God's word alone, and my identity is found only in Christ."
